DCCC, et al: Sending multiple begging SMSs, emails, letters in the same month that multiple taxes are due is asinine.

I just received my 100th request for donation this month.
While most people (apparently) don't owe Federal tax, State tax, sales tax, property tax, their tax preparer, and others, We all have regular bills to pay, which are getting higher.

Most of the requests are for something I've barely heard of, don't trust, and didn't give permission to contact me.

This is pure harassment.
It must stop.

And just for grins, why does it take so much donation to fight for all the good things, and against the bad things, that government could be so much more efficient at doing for us anyways?

Why does "half" the country view the good as bad, and the other "half" views the bad as good?

I just block the sender and mark the message as spam. Same for emails.

If you're getting 100 messages, that might be an option you'd consider. Good luck.

They just change the number or the domain name that the request comes from.

I get over 100 per day. As well as 4 to 8 text messages a day

I will start contributing after July 1, with a few exceptions that have already happened.

Six years ago I sent hundreds of dollars to different Democratic candidates. Within 3 months I was receiving dozens of emails EVERY WEEK begging for money. We're not rich. What we sent took from our reserves, deprived us from eating out, tours, attractions and other spur of the moment reasons to enjoy the ever shortening rest of our lives.

If I want to support one or more candidates of a party, that doesn't mean I support all of the candidates running in that party.

PLEASE STOP your incessant begging!

It’s MY phone.
It’s MY email address.
It’s MY quiet enjoyment of MY house.

Anyone bursting through my boundaries in any other way could be issued a restraining order or worse.

This harassment is permitted by lax laws and greed.

… and yes, it’s difficult when you have to click to report as spam, block, and trash 100-200 emails daily. I realized I’ve invited some of this on myself because I’m too eager to sign petitions (that really has to stop…) because when you do, they apparently sell your info to countless other crap mailing lists—ALL begging for money.

I started blocking dozens of these supposed “do-gooders” for the last couple months and the number still increases. I’m at the point where I have to trash surveys I’d really like to vent about, and refuse to donate to anyone but my local cat rescue (*waves at Cat Depot*) and nothing else.

Everyone’s a grifter anymore.
