Betting Market makes Tom Steyer favorite in Cal. Gov.

The betting markets have moved quickly to write Eric Swalwell's political obituary and make Tom Steyer the odds-on favorite. Overnight, Swalwell dropped 36% to just a 3.4% chance of winning, while Steyer jumped 21% to lead this betting market as having a 52% chance of winning.

I don't care who the Democrat is, as long as he or she finishes in the top two.

It's not just the Governor's race, but if Republicans finish one and two, it will depress votes in the Congressional races, down ballot.
