I saw Emily Gregory on television with Jen Psaki. She is a very engaging personality with a wonderful smile.

I think she’s a natural for politics and look forward to seeing more of her.

P. S. Poor Trump looks like such a sadsack next to these vibrant, healthy two. Have you noticed he is wearing different colors of ties now? The one he wore yesterday was hot pink; it doesn’t help. His eyes are so squinty that I wonder how he can even see out of them. I’ve read this is a side effect of his medication.

Maybe he thinks they ruin his manly good looks or something.

However , there have been numerous special elections which Republicans won.
Just last week, they won 2 special elections in Pennsylvania, holding on to those 2 seats. https://penncapital-star.com/briefs/pa-republicans-keep-two-state-house-seats-in-special-elections/ . But, even in most of those special elections where Republicans kept their seats, Democrats over performed significantly vs the previous elections in those districts and Trump's preformance in 2024.

For setting the record straight, the jist of it iis Republicans are starting to get their long and well deserved reckoning from voters, let's hope it continues.

No one expected Dems to lose in the special elections for the open seats in those districts (they didn't) and no one expectes the Rs to lose their 2 open seats either.

This includes 13 seats in VA and 5 in NJ, the two states that had state legislature and governor's elections.

It's not special elections where the party that held the open seat kept it. That's why the only PA seat ion the list is a state senate seat Dems flipped in Lancaster county area.
