Well Donald this is another fine mess...

The old Laurel & Hardy bit that ended with “ well Ollie, this is another fine mess you’ve gotten us into” seems a fitting statement right now, only nobody is laughing. We are going to need to start planting Victory gardens this year. Farmers can’t get labor, now they can’t get fertilizer, running equipment will be insanely expensive with current fuel prices and when there is a crop to harvest, transportation costs will be through the roof. What does that mean for food prices? Don’t need to be an economist to figure that one out.

This isn’t going to be just a little spike in the price of groceries. Both cost and availability will be issues. How much of your budget will go towards food let alone putting gas in your car or heating your home. If the “excursion” ended tomorrow we would still be looking a a rocky stretch ahead. Every day this goes on, we are facing a longer period of real pain and a deeper mess. So, yes Donald, this is another fine mess you’ve gotten us into. Time to do the Trump limbo dance to see how low we can go.

Although if there aren’t any crops to harvest maybe that won’t be as much of a problem.

There are some very bad outcomes that we may have believed unthinkable that are becoming more likely. Makes you think it might be purposeful to justify even more authoritarian measures by the misadministration.

How long before the rest of the world decides to invade the US and impose 'regime change' because the current ruling group is insane and a threat to humanity?

And foolhardy, unless you are the Duchy of Grand Fenwick,

One tainted hamberder that taster Vance misses ...

MickeyD has already had a tainted onion "excursion"

I think that the majority of magats will just go along, but they have some extremely unstable "members" who aren't the "It's OK that you lied to me" type.

None of this matters. To the rest of us, we can’t afford health care, can’t afford gas, can’t afford housing, can’t afford food. Where does this end? No place good, I’m pretty sure of that. We’re in a mess now and to quote Bill Paxton’s character in Aliens, we’re on the express elevator to hell-going down.
