Israel has a Navy

The Israeli Navy has:
7 corvettes (Sa'ar 5 class, Sa'ar 6 class)
8 missile boats (Sa'ar 4.5 class)
5 submarines (Dolphin class)
45 patrol boats
4 support ships
9,500 active
10,000 reserve

Why didn't Trump ask them for help with keeping open the Straits of Hormuz?

That treaty allowed for cooperation over terrorism in the Sinai, Israel allowed natural gas pipeline to transit to Egypt (they recently shut it off) and Egypt allowed for transit of Israeli goods to Europe. So, they should have had no problem if they coordinated first. The US sends battleships and carrier groups through.

25. Israel/Suez Canal

The Constantinople Convention, which states:

The Suez Maritime Canal shall always be free and open, in time of war as in time of peace, to every vessel of commerce or of war, without distinction of flag.

grants Israel (and any country for that matter) unfettered passage thru the canal.

This treaty has not always been a free pass as Egypt did block access during the Six Day War and the October War.

No idea if an aircraft carrier can transit, but that's not what would be involved.

it’s also the draft. Some older canals are not deep enough for all ships.

They also would have trouble opening passage for oil tankers rather than closing passage for food aid.

They're not really suited to the task.

In line between Hitler and the two former Ayatollahs.

With Ceaușescu as the barista and Stalin at the cash register (so you know it'll be a while).

On the other hand pretty well armed for that size.

The Sa'ar 6 has a displacement of almost 1,900 tons at full load and is 90 m (295 ft 3 in) long. It is armed with an Oto Melara 76 mm main gun, two Typhoon Weapon Stations, 32 vertical launch cells for Barak-8 surface-to-air missiles, 40 cells for the C-Dome point defense system, 16 anti-ship missiles Gabriel V,[12][13] the EL/M-2248 MF-STAR AESA radar, and two 324 mm (12.8 in) torpedo launchers. It has hangar space and a platform able to accommodate a medium class SH-60-type helicopter.

Lack of a point defense CIWS might be a issue in a swarm attack.
