Do we think that Trump did not realize what it would unleash if he went along with Israel and attacked Iran?

I am wondering if he is so dumb that he thought it would be just a quick in-and-out, like Venezuela. It's not like Hegseth is smart enough to tell him what the actual consequences could be.
I suspect some attempted to do that but he outright dismissed it.

Israel's response to October 7 is why Biden or Harris are not POTUS.

Israel's response to October 7 is why there is a huge Democratic divide now and why the USA has lost allies and World respect.

An Iran 100% surrender that satisfies Trump's fever dreams and allows Trump to pick a new leader of Iran will embolden Israel aggression to expand a Greater Israel, not end the conflict in the Middle East.

I am not willing to give Trump nor Netanyahu's Israel a pass.

That is an opinion held in common by most clear thinking and moral Americans, particularly Democrats.

No conspiracy, transparent propaganda and kinetic actions in plain sight for the past 2 1/2 years.

Israeli hardliners like Netanyahu and Likud owned Epstein.

Heartbreaking for those of us that have supported Israel all our lives as is Trump a disaster for the USA.

I think it gives him a charge to think of all the people suffering and/or dying because of him. He enjoys it. And I don't think he cares who, or what country they live in. Total psychopath.

When I think of him and Epstein, wealthy enough to hire any kind of prostitute they wanted, but that's not what they wanted. They wanted unaware young women and children that they could terrorize and hurt. For decades. Psychopaths.

... his malignant narcissism and psychopathic cruelty.

If he does "it" -- whatever "it" may be -- it is destined to be wildly successful (the most successful "it" in the history of the planet).

He only hears what he wants to hear. Occasionally, he is talked down from this or that impulse, but once he makes a decision, it is the most brilliant and best decision ever made.

Any information that didn't support that -- any cautions or doubt -- leading up to the decision, are completely blocked out. As is any blowback. Criticism is all "fake" because his eggshell ego would crumble in a heap if any doubt about his own power and brilliance were allowed to sneak through.

So, the answer is yes. He is utterly detached from, and clueless about, reality.

He is incapable of seeing the shit show the world is seeing. All "problems" that might arise will be solved with a snap of his fingers. He is just that brilliant and powerful. And when his brilliant "solutions" fail, it's not his fault. It is the fault of others who failed to stumble over each other to kiss his feet (tears in their eyes) in recognition of his brilliant "moves."

Tucker Carlson was going to fly out to the White House for a fourth time to try to talk Trump out of furthering the war but was told by someone there not to bother because "he's being shown polling that this war is like a 90/10 win for him".

Kushner? Lindsey Graham? Netanyahu? Lutnick? Those 4 rats are at the top of my list.

Here's the video of Tucker explaining that

ever in history. He makes Idi Amin look like the PhD “doctor” he constantly claimed he was.

Trump doesn’t understand consequences. Not the least of which reasons because he is never subjected to them.

He wants his snack and doesn't give up barking until the person he wants to give it to him. Sometimes he remembers how to go through the dog door and some times not.

Trump is eager for an opportunity to use tactical nukes as is Hegseth.

Netanyahu prefers Trump and the USA to use a tactical nuke instead of Israel.
