The US media is not painting the full picture of the Iran war

I am browsing foreign news, and it is pretty clear Iran has not "lost" as Trump puts it. They are hitting a lot of targets. Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Kuwait, etc.

For example, the French newspaper Le Figaro has a running thread if you can read French:

https://www.lefigaro.fr/international/en-direct-guerre-au-moyen-orient-la-marine-iranienne-dit-avoir-lance-une-vague-massive-d-attaques-de-drones-contre-les-forces-americaines-20260307#08-03-2026-00-43-26

Agenda Free TV on twitch/YouTube is also a good source. They are live-streaming now.

The reason Iran can hit these targets is that it is very hard to stop drones; they fly low and slow, hard to detect and take down.

UPDATE: If you cant access the french website or read it here is an excerpt of the latest:

So, the kuwait forces reported a drone attack against its international airport.
Drones attacked fuel tanks at Kuwait International airport early sunday, the country's ministry of defense reported.

"The kuwait armed forces responded to a wave of hostile drones which penetrated the country's airspace ", as reported on X by a ministry spokeperson without giving a specific number.

3. I think its turning into a war of attrition

Of course, the US and Israel military might combined is orders of magnitude bigger than that of Iran but that is not the issue at hand here. Iran can wage a war of attrition, guerrilla style but this time, with drones. They are targeting things like fuel depots (Kuwait Airport), Government buildings (Bahrain), etc.. that are hard to defend against low speed and low flying drones.

As I type, the Kuwait ministry of defense just announced they are currently dealing with a wave of hostile drones that pierced their air defences.

5. If you wage a war of choice, the balance tips in the favour of your adversary, who has nowhere to go and little to lose,

whereas eventually you may succumb to pressures to up sticks, pretend you won something, and skedaddle home.

See Russia and Ukraine.
