NYT analysis: killing of school children most likely carried out by USA, not Iran

Iï¿½m very sad. What was the slogan during the Vietnam war about LBJ killing babies? Weï¿½re gonna have to replace a word here and there for the current situation:

I haven't heard any suggestion Iran was bombing itself.

From the article (competing liars discussing the allocation of blame between Israel and the US):

In the several days since the attack, U.S. officials have neither confirmed nor denied responsibility. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Wednesday that an investigation was underway. So after checking your correct, and I don’t see them blaming Iran, except for a journalist in Fox News. So I deleted that part.
Israel just claimed they had no knowledge of it

My understanding is that they determined it was a double-tap strike on the school by either US or Israel (both of which are denying it)
