what's the long term benefit from grilling Noem and the other actors?

Sure we get lots of guffaws watching them squirm and dance around questions but when the yakking is over is there any outcome related to their performances? MAGAts think they are doing just fine and we think they are dodging. Comments?

I thot same thing. They couldn't care less. Oblivious to reality. Pretenders. Wanna bes. Void of anything that isn't superficial. I hate them. But we're close. Evil will not prevail ... we just keep pushing. We're dealing with teenagers. Spoiled teenagers. and a 79yo teenager

As VT Rep Becca Balint reminded Noem today “One day, Kristi Noem won’t have Trump to hide behind. she will be held accountable for the terror she and her employees have unleashed on the American people.”

Nothing "ordinary" will stop him/them.
The time for "ordinary" ended long ago, and if it persists, the country won't make it to 250.

...and five Republicans joined the Democrats to make that happen. Nobody's bringing her in to have her do her Temu celebrity roast bit. I have a feeling this coalition's next move is to let her know if doesn't give relevant and material answers, if she tries another burn book distraction, they're going to vote for inherent contempt and lock her sorry ass up, or fine her several hundred dollars each day until she complies.
