And...Trump wanted a Nobel prize, and when he didn't get it Jagland's name shows up in the first wave of names in the Epstein files.

Makes you wonder what names are still being protected.

and left altogether in 2020. It's likely, though that Jagland's membership was a bargaining chip for Epstein.

Lots more about the Jagland situation here: https://www.vg.no/nyheter/i/m0Q114/thorbjoern-jagland-innlagt-paa-sykehus

If you have the Google Translate extension it will pop up for an English translation.

Norway's former Prime Minister, Thorbjørn Jagland (75), has been hospitalized. This is stated by his lawyer, Anders Brosveet of Elden Law Firm. Brosveet states that the admission comes as a result of the strain on Jagland in the wake of the revelations about his contact with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Brosveet also denies news reports in, among others, Inyheter and Finansavisen on Tuesday that Jagland attempted to take his own life. – The information that has now been made public about Jagland's health situation
does not imply accuracy, says Brosveet in a press release the law firm has subsequently issued.
