The Olympics™ men's hockey landed in Miami yesterday.

Special Air Mission (SAM) 335 is a Boeing 757 or military designation C-32A. It left Andrews at 5:45 a.m. ET. It should arrive at Miami at about 7:45 a.m.

How did Miami end up all this?

U.S. men's hockey team arrives in Miami to celebrate Olympic gold medal win

Just a day after defeating Canada 2-1 in overtime in the gold medal game at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics, the team flew to Miami to continue the party that began after the game-winning puck hit the back of the net in Italy.

The team's charter plane arrived at Miami International Airport Monday afternoon after it had to be re-routed away from New York due to the winter weather farther up the East Coast.

O/T: strange departure route for this flight from Fort Belvoir:

DEI has been outlawed, they won't even be considered unless they make a big production out of promising to give up their medals to the orange ogre.

Put them next to Pete and Bannon. No one will notice they’re drunk.

Edited: one of the planes often used as AF1 had been on a training flight over Greensboro this morning. It left there at 11:55 a.m. ET and just now landed at Andrews, at 12:53 p.m. ET.

The plane with the hockey players is right behind it, due to land at about 1:05 p.m. ET.
