Extensive global sex ring involving the most powerful and rich men in the world.
If Epstein was black mailing them, they could have easy disposed of him sooner than they did.
He was untouchable even to them.

(4,310 posts)It was an international plot, stealing state secrets, blackmailing, manipulating markets, consolidating wealth, holding working families hostage to increase the wealth of an international oligarchy and concentrating power in the hands of a few very evil people. Accountability must be severe and guaranteed.

A bombshell report revealed Monday that under the first Trump administration, the FBI appeared to have issued a stand down order to New York Police Department investigators regarding their criminal probe into Jeffrey Epstein, an order that came just five days after the disgraced financiers arrest in 2019.
The existence of the supposed directive was revealed by law professor and legal scholar Ryan Goodman, who found it buried within the Justice Department's recent release of around 3.5 million files on Epstein.
The directive applied to NYPDs Special Victims Unit the group specially trained and equipped to handle sex crimes and child abuse cases, Goodman wrote in a report published Monday in Just Security, a non-partisan law and policy journal.

or risk possibly being imprisoned for life.
Where the fuck was Garland? And Wray?! Oh yeah, Garland was an appeasement choice (i.e, right of center) for SCOTUS that McAsshole torpedoed and Biden appointed to show them!; and Wray was appointed by the fat-ass himself another semi-appeasement in itself by demonstrably playing by the rules when the other side had thrown the rules out!
Admittedly subjective and partly unfair on my part but in the end, thats exactly how it kinda turned out and partly why were in this god/damned clusterfuck! It pretty darned frustrating and really really sucks!

(9,572 posts)Epstein requested to be released on bond, offering to post $100 million with the condition that he would also submit to house arrest in his New York City mansion. U.S. district judge Richard M. Berman denied the request on July 18, saying that Epstein posed a danger to the public and a serious flight risk to avoid prosecution. On August 29, 2019, 19 days after Epstein was found dead in his jail cell, the case against Epstein was closed by Judge Berman. Prosecutors stated they would continue an investigation for potential co-conspirators.
Immediately upon Epstein's arrest:
According to a memo published 4 days after his arrest, the search of his New York townhouse turned up evidence of sex trafficking and "hundredsand perhaps thousandsof sexually suggestive photographs of fullyor partiallynude females." In a locked safe, discs were found with labels: "Young [Name] + [Name]", "Misc nudes 1", and "Girl pics nude". USA Today noted that although investigators were still reviewing the material, one attorney said that his client was underage when some photos were taken.
FBI investigators later determined that one device contained between 15 and 20 images depicting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), but that the material had been downloaded from the internet, and not produced by Epstein himself. According to a memo later sent to the FBI by U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey, "No videos or photos showed Epstein victims being sexually abused, none showed any males with any of the nude females, and none contained evidence implicating anyone other than Epstein and Maxwell". Comey stated they would have pursued any leads" generated but we did not, however, locate any such videos".
Also found in the safe were $70,000 in cash, 48 diamonds, and a fraudulent Austrian passport, which expired in 1987, that had Epstein's photo but another name. The passport had numerous entrance and exit stamps, including entrance stamps that showed the use of the passport to enter France, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia in the 1980s. The passport showed his place of residence as Saudi Arabia. According to his attorneys, Epstein had been advised to acquire the passport because "as an affluent member of the Jewish faith", he was in danger of being kidnapped while traveling abroad.

(15,763 posts)The new owner, who is a Trumper, suddenly wants to do construction. Right after the investigation was announced, how convenient.
It would probably take a court order to halt that and allow investigation, but I'm not sure even that would work.
It doesn't help that the late former Gov. Richardson is named in the files.

(535 posts)I think Epstein was just at the crossroads of many of the worlds nefarious doings whether political, financial, sexual, or military. Maybe too much for any country to want to open the can and let the worms fall out. I think if Putin had that kind of power over other leaders, he would have made more headway in the last 10 years. Ill just say I dont think its more than one conspiracy, but not the type where everybodys on the same page except wanting to suppress or minimize evidence. Of course this is just me placing some narrative on what little I know to try to make sense out of it. Ill be glad to modify my thoughts if more information ever gets out.

In the Epstein files, Jeffry and Bannon are talking about Trump being a super borderline. Even the psychopaths calling out Trump for a personality disorder plus saying if he became president, the 25th amendment should be used. But the were all into money laundering around the whole world.
