Not to take anything away from the braze Ukrainians, but they are being helped tremendously by the aid sent to them by European nations, not to mention the fact that they are being given access to some of the worlds best intelligence networks, including satellite imagery. Western militaries are likely aiding Ukraine with far more assistance in various ways that they will ever admit, to maintain plausible deniability with russia,

I’ve also seen combat videos of English speaking westerners absolutely destroying Russian troops in close contact firefights.
I don’t think these are regular troops, but either paid mercenaries or “volunteers” from private military companies like the Forward Observations Group.
