DHS suspends TSA Pre-check and Global Entry then pauses that suspension. Got it?

Maybe the pause was due to FBI Director Patel flying an agency jet to Milan for the Olympics.

because I have flight on Thursday for a vacation to the Caribbean. I have both TSA Precheck and Global Entry. I was more pissed off about global entry being suspended because sometimes the regular TSA line is shorter than the precheck line. However, Global Entry is great because now you can use your Global Entry phone app to complete the entrance while taxing to the gate. I haven't spent more than 2 minutes in immigration in a long time.
