I heard a radio interview with a British journalist about the investigation of Andrew's association with Epstein. Sorry, I did not get the name of the journalist because I was listening while doing other things and only stopped to listen closely when the journalist began describing how the investigation will be carried out.
So, she said that the UK investigation is about Andrew giving government secrets to Epstein and is not about Epstein's sex crimes. However, the investigation will include interviews with Andrew's security staff who traveled with him, like our own Secret Service is always present with our own first and second families here in the US.
She said that Andrew's security staff will be grilled on where he went and the people he met and spoke with. They will ask who was present with him on various occasions and what they discussed. She said that it could overlap with and shed light on some of his international sex ring business even though that will not be the focus of the investigation.
Andrew's finances, schedules, meetings, travel records and other records and receipts will be examined.
Wonder what and who the investigation will turn up and how much will be made public.

(25,427 posts)with the investigation. After suspicions about Diana's death, I think there might be riots if Andrew disappeared, died, became seriously ill, or suddenly became suicidal or accident prone.
OTOH, I also think that the results might not be fully revealed. There are likely to be some things discovered that will get swept under the rug. Brits can be just as hush-hush about some things as the US is. Money and power are strong influences everywhere.
