Wow! Why was the light so bright on Trump during that press conference?

He also looks awfully pasty than normal? Way too muck makeup! He looked like a mannequin!

Was it to make chump look good in the dim light? or was it to emphasize how somber a moment this was for him?
There was never an explanation given, and I don't recall ever seeing them do that before.
