RICHLAND COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - Village of Butler Mayor Wesley Dingus faces numerous charges for allegedly running over a man wanted for violating parole.

Dingus pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Monday to charges of aggravated assault, vehicular assault, falsification and dereliction of duty.

The judge set bond for Dingus at $25,000 and ordered his is not allowed to drive until court proceedings conclude.

He is also required to wear an electronic monitoring device.
