Things like blood can be surfaced cleaned, but that won’t necessarily catch every drop between floorboards. Or a building with, say, a crematorium could be demolished and burned but there may still be traceable chemicals in the surrounding dirt layers that indicate its past use. I hope that’s what is going to happen.
