If I have to choose between NATO and the White House, I will pick NATO every time, and I don't even care who is president at the time.

Right itself in the next election or two.

This county is institutionalized fascism, fully supported by billionaires .

I’m rooting for the Europeans to rise in economic, military and political power.

I watched this clip of economist Justin Wolpers who pointed out that although it is nice that our stock market rose 16% over the last year to hit 50,000 for the Dow, the European stock market rose 38% during that same time period.

Not a dissolution. Lardass could respond by withdrawing in which case NATO will become strictly a European entity, so I think.

On edit: Ooops, forgot about Canada.

and now our military and intelligence services are likewise as a result.

This was all avoidable. Everyone you know who voted for The Dotard or didn't vote at all are the authors of this sad chapter. This is all on all of them.

Someone posted it then.

Still stupid crazy turn of events.

Apparently, the French and another country that I can’t recall shared bogus info with US intelligence, and it ended up in Russia’s hands, so they knew we could no longer be trusted. Pretty sad.

I really don't see how NATO has any other choice. Anyone with half a brain knows that Trump is irresponsible, unreliable, and incompetent. Trusting him with any responsibility whatsoever would be madness. (And yet here WE are, stuck with him. )

NATO is doing what they need to do, pure and simple. This sucks beyond belief, but it's all HIS fault and the fault of those who enable him. (Spineless Republican wienies in Congress, I'm looking at ALL of you! )

The United States will turn over two of NATO's major command posts - in Naples, Italy and Norfolk, Virginia - to European officers, a military source told Reuters on Monday.
The move is in keeping with U.S. President Donald Trump's demands that European nations take more responsibility for their own security. His administration has called for the military alliance, long dominated by the United States, to become a "European-led NATO".
