If he keeps exposing Larry Ellison's CBS censorship/cancel cultural, I'm thinking he won't.

(2,568 posts)as long as he doesn't do anything highly unpopular. The fact is 70% or more of Americans agree with most of what he and Kimmel are saying. And the louder he says it, the more painful it makes it for CBS to cancel him early.
The legacy networks are dying. This is the perfect opportunity for Colbert to launch a new presence that will compete directly with whatever CBO puts in his time slot after May.
In the new world, he doesn't really have to go to Comedy Central, Netflix or any of the other T-Rex networks. There is an argument that he (and like-minded people) can launch their own streaming network to compete directly with the dying OTA networks. And he will have the very considerable advantage of connecting with a younger demographic that is more valuable to advertisers.
The media rules are changing very fast now. Make Ellison eat a multi-billion dollar loss.
