(None of this hinky Iowa stuff).
Candidate might announce early in prior year in December, last week of December, or even January.
I still think it should be this way.

Or do you mean the talk about who is running will start to heat up? The candidates will start to make more noise for sure.

(84,834 posts)Some will be exploratory committees. Others will be full announcements. The full field will likely be set by June of 2027.

(25,845 posts)He can't resign from VP, but as he tries to attract, steal attention from Trump, Trump will almost certainly get jealous. If Vance tries to create space between him and the deeply unpopular Trump, ruh-oh. Trump won't like that. Plus, MAGA generally dislikes him and sees him as a phoney.
