How do they know?
They recovered DNA - is this the match?

(31,763 posts)If it matched that would mean they have DNA from the site that they would have run through their system already.
The article I read said that the DNA on the glove was different and they were going to run it through the program that has DNA on file.

"The FBI said on Sunday that the glove resembled those worn by Guthries presumed abductor in surveillance video recorded by a camera on the night of her disappearance."

By that I understand that they found a black nitrile glove, which is the outer layer of what the intruder appeared to be wearing on the door camera.
