I am curious about the glove found next to Nancy Guthrie's home

The report says it matches the “masked individual” seen “approaching the font door.”

How do they know?

They recovered DNA - is this the match?

If it matched that would mean they have DNA from the site that they would have run through their system already.

The article I read said that the DNA on the glove was different and they were going to run it through the program that has DNA on file.

From The Guardian:

"The FBI said on Sunday that the glove resembled those worn by Guthrie’s presumed abductor in surveillance video recorded by a camera on the night of her disappearance."

By that I understand that they found a black nitrile glove, which is the outer layer of what the intruder appeared to be wearing on the door camera.
