Attorney General Pam Bondi and her partner John Wakefield’s relationship dates back to 2017.

The former Florida attorney general shared the first glimpse into her relationship with Wakefield on social media that year, posting about a concert they attended together. Wakefield, a private equity firm founder, has since been seen supporting Bondi on several occasions, notably appearing beside her during her swearing-in ceremony as United States attorney general in February 2025.

Prior to her relationship with Wakefield, Bondi was engaged to Greg Henderson. She was previously married to Scott Fitzgerald for a few years before their divorce in 2002, and to Garret Barnes in the early 1990s before splitting in 1992.

While little is known about Wakefield’s romantic life prior to being with Bondi, he seems to be the father of three children, according to his Instagram bio.
