I just want to thank each and every one of DU's residents for the years of wonderful experiences and support, I know, in the past, I was sometimes, (Ahem) quite rude but I've mellowed out in the last year or so, at least I haven't gotten any posts hidden, if that's a measure of mellowing out,
, and thank those of you for the hearts.

(17,890 posts)occasionally, I will take a load that takes me out of my comfort zone, but my other driver usually takes the coast to coast and Midwest loads, she's a true nomad who loves the road.

(4,439 posts)Daughter in Olympia, and occasionally the Willamette Valley. We try to avoid the interstates as much as possible, as my max speed in 65, and I really don't want to slow the truckers keeping our country running.
I've followed you on DU for a long time. I consider us friends even though we've never met in person.
Safe travels, and if you ever get into Arizona on I-8, 10, or 17 during the winter, let me know. We're somewhere in that area almost every winter to spring.

(13,303 posts)in the snow wearing your flip-flops stuck on the Snoqualmie Pass I-90 uphill with no chains, or blocking the fuel island at Loves while you nap, so you must be doing something right.
I can't handle the tension of watching that draft dodger on TV at all, so 'Road Rage Instant Karma 4 wheelers brake checking 18 wheelers' is my new favorite YouTube show for relaxation. Watching a Peterbilt re-arrange the rear end of a Toyota Camry is cathartic.
Stay safe out there.

(4,380 posts)I know you probably rolled your eyes until you saw the back of your skull before responding to my post, but I appreciated the time you took to set me straight for erroneously thinking that way, and nary a flame was seen coming from you.
Hope you slept well.
