Reverend Joseph Yoo on Trump's depiction of the Obama's

I follow this relatively unknown Episcopalian minister on Facebook, and this video tells it like it is. He is calling out the hypocrisy of Christians. I hope this can be viewed. If there's a better way to share this, please let me know. I know some don't want to click on Facebook, but this really IS something unique.

As a Christian myself, I think it is most definitely our duty and obligation to call out absolute evil intent.

I'm not suggesting that anyone has to believe like I do, and I'm not promoting a war of "good" versus "evil", but it's pretty damn hypocritical of some Christians to continue to support Trump when his actions go against everything that Christianity is (supposed to) be about!!!

I just shared it with my Orthodox "sister" whose RepubliKKKan EvangeliKKKal in-laws rent from her. I hope she shares it with her MIL, who we suspect is only what she is (she used to be RC) because of her husband.

It's pretty hard to argue with this clergyman's logic here, isn't it???!!!

I wasn't raised as an Episcopalian, but I've always respected the "freedom" that I found in their beliefs. This guy just told it like it is right now!!!! It should convict any Christian who supports Trump.

I grew up Episcopalian and became Orthodox about 10 years ago. Still love the church of my birth. We think her MIL would probably become Orthodox right along with us if her spouse kicked it. He has dementia and a bunch of other things.

I expect none of Trump's evangelical friends told him of this verse:

1 John 4:20-21

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

How about this from Shakespeare?

GLOUCESTER
Name not religion, for thou lov'st the flesh,
And ne'er throughout the year to church thou goes
Except it be to pray against thy foes.
--Shakespeare, 1 Henry VI 1.1.41-43
