Hey trump voters! Tired of the winning yet? Worst job market since 2009! USA! USA!

It really says something that the news is so bad (ICE shootings, rising prices, healthcare premiums, daily outrages of every kind imaginable) that this news is flying somewhat under the radar.

According to CNN, 108,435 layoffs were announced in January. This is the highest number since 2009. Anyone else remember what was happening in Jan. 2009? It was a recession.

People stay home if they can, doomscroll and news binge ... focus on Minnesota ... the weather is resetting many lives and minds ... focus on what's important.

Not sure what that has to do with my post. Edited to add that I am not criticizing average people or DUers for ignoring this story. If anything, I am criticizing the media and using to show how much insanity there is that a story this big would not be the lead story on every broadcast.

Job losses. And time to watch the news on MN. And talk with family and friends about it.
