If it were a Fox News host's mother that had been kidnapped...
...would the government's response be different?
Would a wild-eyed Kash Patel be in front of the cameras making threats to the kidnappers about bringing the full weight of the government down upon their heads?
Would a scowley Pan Bondi be at a podium every 15 minutes telling us how much the President is involved in bringing the perpetrators to justice?
Would satellites be changing their orientations and cell towers suddenly be flooding the NSA with even more detailed data?
Would this very capable-seeming and reasonable local sheriff and these FBI field agents be pushed aside in favor of a full media blitz by Cabinet members to show the country that the Administration was doing everything in its considerable power to bring this case to a close?
Would the reward be $100,000, $250,000, or more?
Would Felon 47 be more animated than just saying, "I think it's terrible, I'm going to call [Savannah Guthrie] later on. I think it's a terrible thing.
Very unusual situation, but we're going to find out"?
