Wisconsin Dem Party outraises state GOP 6-1 through federal account

The state Dem Party outraised its GOP counterpart nearly 6-to-1 through their federal campaign accounts in 2025.

Their latest reports showed WisDems raised nearly $12.8 million for the year and finished 2025 with $806,728 in the bank along with $38,897 in debts.

The state GOP, meanwhile, pulled in almost $2.2 million last year through its federal account and ended 2025 with $535,974.

WisDems’ fundraising was driven by $9.2 million in individual contributions. That includes almost $3.3 million in unitemized donations from those giving less than $200. Those donations are often seen as a sign of a committee’s small-dollar operation.
