She could have declined to be interviewed. She could have focused only on herself
Instead she focused on the women and girls who are exploited.

I remember before he married her, he was roundly criticized by many for his lack of charitable giving even though he was worth millions. He didn't even seem to care that it painted him in a bad light. After he married her his interest in some charitable causes began, probably at her insistence.

Her strength and integrity are remarkable.

While I hate that she is being asked about the actions and behaviors of her former husband, actions and behaviors she is not responsible for at all, and I am truly saddened that she was caused such personal harm, I have tremendous respect for how she keeps the focus on the victims.

When the interviewer broached the subject of the STD, Melinda nodded almost imperceptibly. Twice.
