Trump claims 'very good call' with Walz

President Trump described what he said was a “very good call” with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) in which they “seemed to be on a similar wavelength,” amid growing tensions between federal law enforcement and protesters in the state.

“Governor Tim Walz called me with the request to work together with respect to Minnesota. It was a very good call, and we, actually, seemed to be on a similar wavelength,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“I told Governor Walz that I would have Tom Homan call him, and that what we are looking for are any and all Criminals that they have in their possession. The Governor, very respectfully, understood that, and I will be speaking to him in the near future,” he continued, reiterating a request made on the social media platform a day before.

The message from Trump is a significant shift after days of administration officials repeatedly blaming Walz for protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

He makes it sound like Walz is harboring fugitives. Besides from what we’ve seen, they really haven’t been going after criminals at all. Trump’s goon squad is just going door to door, smashing car windows, harassing and beating people up.. oh and don’t forget executing people in cold blood.
