You're a United States Senator and can choose any three committees, Which three would you choose and why?

California has a vested interest in every subject under the sun but these are probably our Big Three:

- Judiciary
- Foreign Affairs
- Commerce

There is Appropriations, then one with Finance, and I believe another one with the Budget, but I'm honestly not sure which is the most important of them, but that's the one I would want to be on.
