Trump admin plans to litigate up to 200 citizen denaturalizations per month

The Trump administration plans to ramp up efforts to strip some naturalized Americans of their citizenship, according to internal guidance obtained by The New York Times, marking an aggressive new phase in President Trump’s immigration crackdown.

The guidance, issued on Tuesday to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services field offices, asks that they “supply Office of Immigration Litigation with 100-200 denaturalization cases per month” in the 2026 fiscal year.

If the cases are successful, it would represent a massive escalation of denaturalization in the modern era, experts said. By comparison, between 2017 and this year to date, there had been just over 120 cases filed, according to the Justice Department.

Will people born in the United States to parents who were born in the United States, whose parents were born in the United States be subject to having their citizenship and rights litigated and taken away?

The law is used to protect and enrich the wealthy and powerful.
And to punish and control the rest of us.

Money talks.

that there are laws against it. But before I set aside my fears, I want to know whether those people predicted that Trump could tear down the East Wing of the White House with barely a ripple in Congress, whether the Senate majority leader could refuse to give a hearing to any candidate for the supreme court proposed by the president who belongs to a different party, and whether the supreme court could stop a presidential election and pick the winner.

Such a keen legal mind that he put into law that original citizenship could be revoked...
