The law will apply to adults who have incurable, irreversible illnesses and six months or less to live, and each patient will need the sign-off of three doctors.

(172,580 posts)I'm turning 70 soon, have seen and known people who died quickly and also slowly. I want a choice, and there are a lot of old people here who I am sure have had similar experiences.
And PS, I had to go to DMV today, and got to sign a petition to legalize weed in this county. Civic duty, baby!

(44,738 posts)Lots of boxs to check, lots of witnesses to sign off. I have a warped view of religious leaders meddling in what could be mine or a loved ones decision. Ill be as callous as I can. If you tell the religious leaders that you have not nor ever will drop a coin in their collection plate theyll let you make your own decision.
