It is something I think we are headed for. Between climate change, wars, pollution, etc., I believe it is inevitable and sadly necessary. People tend to be resistant to change and often need something major to shake them up.

I am relatively optimistic that day will come, but not in my lifetime.

There were people who thought World War II would transform the world and it did somewhat for awhile, but the same negative forces eventually came roaring back especially as memories started to fade. Now we see the rise of authoritarian leaders all over the world, as if the monsters in the past never existed.

I suppose a huge factor contributing to positive change would be education and I personally believe we have to change the way we raise our boys.
