Well, it took me two glasses of Chardonnay

to do my Christmas cards today, and it's just 1:00 in the afternoon here in the Midwest. I have never felt such a sense of gloom and foreboding during the holiday season as I feel this year. Writing joyful messages on each card was beyond difficult. I want my country back.

You have a whole number of people that you share with, connect with, and exchange holiday greetings. Forgive yourself for feeling bad, and then take a quick second to see the joy -- just for that moment - of sharing holiday light.

Of course, for finishing, some connesuers transfer wine to an oak cask, or to a carboy containing oak sticks.

For the second year, I just couldn't make myself write a Christmas letter or send cards. There's just not much holiday spirit in this neck of the woods.

Now it's something I just feel obligated to do.

10. It's a bit late but I'm thinking of a nice Christmas card to share. About the "old, wimpy Jesus" we grew up with.

Discarded by CINO's.
I'll have to hurry.

I never sent cards, so maybe good to send to people via ANONYMOUS email, messages and posts.
Nothing gets them so angry as seeing their hypocrisy and outright blasphemy exposed.

Working on it.

I’ve never been more depressed at Christmastime. The loss of the Reiners has pushed me to look forward to the end of this terrible year (Annis Horribulis? Isn’t that what the queen called it?). I’m focusing on New Year’s Eve and shaking off 2025.

Used to love Kendall Jackson Chardonnay though ... 😁
