but he was awfully proud that the new flag poles are 88 feet.

note : check every dimension of everything he builds. every conspiracy nut knows that d c is dense in symbolism, masonic stuff and what not. and these are all full goose q anon true believers. they can not resist filling the ball room with nazi symbology

88 – represents HH, meaning “Heil Hitler.” The 88 is one of the most used codes in Nazi-speech.
18 – stands for AH, you guessed right, it's an abbreviation of "Adolf Hitler."
198 – a combination of 19 and 8 or S and H, meaning "Sieg Heil."
1919 – represents SS, short for “Schutzstaffel”, probably the most infamous paramilitary organization in the Third Reich. It was responsible for some of the most heinous crimes against humanity in World War II.
74 – GD or “Großdeutschland/ Großdeutsches Reich” refers to the 19th-century idea of a German state that includes Austria, also an unofficial term for Germany after the annex of Austria in 1938. "Großdeutsches Reich" was the official state designation of the Third Reich in the last two years of the war.
28 – BH is an abridgement for "Blood & Honor," a German Neo-Nazi network that nowadays is prohibited.
444 – yet another representation of letters, DDD stands for "Deutschland den Deutschen (Germany for the Germans)". Other theories point out that it also might refer to the Four-Column-Concept of the far-right party NPD (National Democratic Party of Germany). This concept is the NPD’s strategy for winning over political power in Germany.
14 or 14 words – is a numeric combination used by Nazis all over the world, but especially in the USA and by some German groups. The exact 14 words of this code are: We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children. A statement coined by deceased American white supremacist David Eden Lane. “Our people,” of course excludes everyone who is not deemed “white.”

In addition apparently the big gun came in 3 varieties. One of which was the FLAK 37.

Spit balling here.

14. Maybe it's because 40 has biblical connotations.

I once got a member of Operation Rescue —an evangelical nut case — held in contempt for violating an injunction prohibiting her from going on Planned Parenthood property. The judge sentenced her to 40 days in jail.

About an hour after I got back to the office, I got a call from the judge saying he had changed his mind. He was only going to sentence her to 37 days in jail. When I asked why, the judge said that under the circumstances he wanted to avoid the biblical connections with the number 40.

Maybe if Trump uttered the number 40 he’d burst into flames.

Obviously not this article, but it answers the OP question.

Pick a random number between 100. You probably chose 37, and there's a big reason for that.

When we think of randomness, something chaotic and unpredictable often comes to mind. The funny thing is that when people are asked to choose a random number between 1 and 100, they will most reliably select 37. That doesn’t feel very random.

So why do people seem to have a strange subconscious affinity for such a seemingly random number? Derek Muller and his team at Veritasium investigated this intriguing phenomenon in a video entitled, “Why is this number everywhere?”

To unravel the mystery surrounding 37, Veritasium surveyed 200,000 people, asking them to select a random number. The ones that came up most often were 7, 73, 77 and 37.

Participants were then asked to choose a number they thought would be the least selected. Setting aside the extreme values and the number 50 for being positioned centrally, the numbers that emerged as the most chosen were 73 and 37, almost at a tie.

It is clear there were no random number generators to consult in 1953.

On the very first page of Chapter One of The Case of the Green-Eyed Sister (1953) Della Street tells Perry Mason this about the client in the waiting room: "I think she'd cut your heart out for thirty-seven cents...." Roy Cohn probably fell upon this between sessions with Joe McCarthy, must have passed it on to TSF"s father and it became a thing. Odd that I would start reading Erle Stanley Gardner's 72- year-old book on my Kindle today. No?
