Danica Patrick has been getting more and more involved in the political world as of late.
The 43-year-old former NASCAR and IndyCar driver has been getting more involved in the world of politics, after attending a previous Charlie Kirk event. Patrick, who voted for the first time in 2024, admitted that she has been "red pilled."
"It was only a little over a year ago that I went to my first ever political event, which was AmFest here in Phoenix, Charlie Kirk's big event. I mean at that point in time, hopefully without people judging, I didn't know who Charlie was. Like I had never paid attention to politics, and in fact, quite specifically avoided the news and had since like 2018. So after going to that event, I posted some photos of my sister and I, and it just said that 'I love this country' and it was a divisive comment to so many and grabbed a lot of attention, which was ridiculous," Patrick previously said.
"And then I finally met Tucker Carlson when he was there because he was one of the speakers and I quickly went on his show. And came back and Charlie reached out and then I went on Charlie's show and I was like, 'well, I guess I am in politics now.'"

I'm not a NASCAR fan so I never gave this woman much thought, but I guess I'm going to think of her less.

(52,903 posts)She raced in what's now NASCAR Cup - the top tier of NASCAR - for six years (191 races total) and finished in the Top 10 seven times. The term for drivers who never win races is "field car"; she wasn't even that good.
On the other hand, she was beautiful, friendly, popular and good at negotiation so she was able to bring a lot of sponsorship to her team that they probably wouldn't have been able to get otherwise. Like Darrell Waltrip said, what makes a race car fast is what's painted on the hood and having her on the team ensured there'd always be something there.

(100,072 posts)She goes on a couple nazi influencer shows so, of course, she's now 'into' politics now. What a simpleton.
Sorry, hunny, nope.
