Shortly after their deaths were confirmed, People reported the couple was killed by their son Nick. Law enforcement has yet to confirm Peoples report.
Nick previously opened up about his battle with substance abuse issues, which began in his teens. The second son of the When Harry Met Sally director and his second wife was born September 14, 1993.
Around his 15th birthday, Nick entered rehab for the first time. By 2016, he had done more than a dozen stays in rehabilitation facilities.
I was homeless in Maine. I was homeless in New Jersey. I was homeless in Texas, Nick recalled in 2016, according to People. I spent nights on the street. I spent weeks on the street. It was not fun.

(974 posts)In LA is now covering up or not reporting accurately on a major crime to a celebrity. The number of conspiracy theories germinated here are breathtaking. This kind of dark conspiracy sharing leads to people not believing anything or any authority. Rob Reiner was stabbed. Ive seen nothing implausible that a son struggling for over a decade with heavy drug addiction would do this.

Is the mundane, most likely thing plausible? Sure. It is, in fact, as noted, the most likely explanation in a mundane fashion.
But there is no reason to believe such on the say so of the fucking LAPD. That is what their record hath wrought.
And there need not be any conspiracy; not when laziness, bias, incompetence, and unprofessionalism will do.
It would be nice is the people "solving" this crime were trustworthy. Alas, they are not, much to everyone's loss. We will have to muddle through.
