Need a giggle? Trump Announces Aid Package To Farmers To Help Them Deal With How Amazing Economy is

"These farmers — they don't know anything. I love 'em, but they're out in the fields all day singing slave songs or whatever they do. They don't understand money," Trump said during a White House Cabinet Room roundtable. "So we're going to throw some money at them so they can handle just how well the economy is doing."

Farmers attempted to explain to Trump their precise economic concerns: higher supply costs, plummeting crop prices, and a labor shortage due to mass deportation. The president only shook his head and pointed to a chart showing a 3% inflation rate. "The numbers are down, which means the economy is up," Trump had said. "That's just basic math. And you can take it from me, I'm a math wiz. Everyone says so. They look at me and ask how I can solve all these math problems and I tell them it's just adding and subtracting. It's very simple."

12 billion to farmers, 20 billion to Argentina, buying stock in private companies that gives the government control, subsidies to coal mines, subsidies to 3 Mile Island, allowing the fossil fuel industry to drill off Florida and Alaska, giving the fossil fuel industry our government land to drill on, and loggers to cut trees on.

Well, I'll take the two I/we found.

That language is not flattering at all to Trump. I wonder if they wanted to really right-wing the farmer post, tney'd have included a couple of words used in the Blazing Saddles railroad worker clip I omitted, which alluded to "slave songs", i.e. Camptown Races (whether it is or isn't)

I ENDORSE NOTHING
until there's money in it, and there certainly hasn't and won't be.

I keep my conservative relatives about 3000 miles away, and very incommunicado.

Ok, on re-reading it I realize it’s probably a parody. I hope. Sign of the times; things are so bad I half believe that idiot could actually come out with this nonsense and the MSM would just nod their collective heads and be ok with it.
