Certain types of coercion definitely are. Not sure whether this is one of the illegal types. It damn sure SHOULD be though!

Of course though even if it were, the Shady 6 would just declare this an "official action" so he'd be immune from prosecution over it

That's assuming this social media blurb from "Heritage Action" is totally correct as opposed to click-baity

From Google:

"Multiple court rulings have affirmed the constitutional principle that Congress controls federal spending, not the President, by blocking attempts by the Trump administration to unilaterally freeze or reallocate funds."
and

"The U.S. Constitution grants the "power of the purse" exclusively to Congress, meaning the executive branch cannot refuse to spend money that lawmakers have appropriated."
(Both quotes from Google.)

to Indiana Republicans and their families.

Violent threats pile up as Indiana Republicans confront pressure from Trump on redistricting - PBS

Because apparently we now live in a society where Trump and his MAGA HOARDS can engage in extortion, intimidation, THREATS, and TERRORISM without fear of pushback or consequences.

to stop sending money to Trump's regime. Announce that if Trump will use funding as coercion, then Blue states will too. Using Trump's tactics, pass a law that says to the affect of "since federal money is now being used for illegal activities and spending (such as private jets, golf games, family vacations, etc.), we will with hold funding for review to make sure nothing illegal is being done with our states' money The federal government is now required to send us an itemized budget. And any federal money with held from our state will be off set by funds normally send to the federal government."

The voting for the House in the 2024 election saw all but one republican win with over 60% of the vote. The map could easily be drawn to make it a potential 9 to 0 win for the republicans. Trump won the state by 19 points.

If Trump actually followed through on his threat, voter backlash could cost the republicans a seat or two.

How much more illegal and unconstitutional abuse of power will Americans endure from the evil pig smearing ketchup (or is it something else?) all over the Oval Office? Republican filth can only jump the shark so many times before they all become chum. Those with any sense of self-preservation had better get on the right side of this shit show before they auger in with the rest of the soulless sociopaths they laughingly call "colleagues". The final denouement is bearing down on them like an unstoppable pyroclastic flow, and time is running out. The majority of Americans are better than these lowlife MAGAts, and they've had ENOUGH. The GOP will be no more.
