He was lying, Thompson knew he was lying, and Glasheen knew that Thompson knew he was lying. Hilarious!
His lies were as transparent as Saran wrap! He needs to look for another job. Lying convincingly is a key skill for anyone who wants to work for Trump, and Glasheen is seriously lacking in that department! 
millions of people who are unable to connect with any humanity they may have had at one point in time (among other damages to their thinking or ability to tell the truth) and feel the need to follow the authority, strong man, figure. It's what they are used to however terrible it is.
