Why isn't this a crime? "US seizes oil tanker off Venezuelan coast." Trump wants to steal Venezuela' oil.

I hope Venezuela goes to the I.C.C. or the U.N. or somebody and brings some can of action against
Trump and the United States. This is a crime. I hope foreign nations recall their ambassadors and
fire a warning shot by starting to sell off some of their U.S. treasures. This is a preclude to an un-
-needed war against the people of Venezuela. Venezuela can sell THEIR OIL to whomever they
want to Trump does not get to set the rules of the war.

The United States seized an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela on Wednesday, President Donald Trump said, escalating US pressure on President Nicolas Maduro’s regime.

“As you probably know we’ve just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela,” Trump said. “Large tanker, very large, largest one ever seized, actually.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi said the tanker has been sanctioned by the US for multiple years “due to its involvement in an illicit oil shipping network supporting foreign terrorist organizations,” including Venezuela and Iran.

President Trump did not offer any detailed explanation for the move, saying only that the vessel was seized “for very good reason.” Asked what would happen to the oil the tanker was transporting, Trump said, “We keep it, I guess.”

The seizure occurred in international waters, a senior US official said, and proceeded without incident or casualties either among the US personnel or the tanker’s crew.

The ship, which was headed to Cuba, was ultimately destined for Asia after being brokered through Cuban sellers, the senior official said, adding that additional seizures are possible in the coming weeks as the US applies pressure on Maduro.

This is an act of piracy and I can’t help to think this has to do with Epstein.
Trump and his advisers are international criminals. Trump is a mad man.

What the U.S. did here was valid.

Does it suit dual purpose for Trump fucking with Venezuela? Yes.

But there's an entire history, with this ship in particular. People are reacting without having the full context.

And let me just say, the media have been atrocious at providing the context. Yeah, people yammering on Twitter out of ignorance is one thing. But how ostensibly credible news articles are just omitting the full circumstances is extremely weird.

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2023/sep/18/how-a-burnt-out-abandoned-ship-reveals-the-secrets-of-a-shadow-tanker-network

It's interesting reading. Took me 30 seconds to find on Google. But I'm not a highly paid media personality or Twitter expert, so who knows.

What the US did was an effort to remove Maduro from power to allow US companies to steal the oil.

There are plenty of oil tankers that are violating sanctions across the globe. A Ukraine sea drone just blew one up. If Krasnov is concerned about tankers violating sanctions he needs to take his military fleet to China, Turkey, or Russia.

The Guardian isn't the same news organization it once was.

Do you disagree with Ukraine's actions?

If so, can you explain why you disagree with those actions?

Not a military operation when using the military for private gain. Split some hairs!

for the fossil fuel industry keeping gasoline prices relatively low. Just imagine what inflation would be with gasoline at higher prices?

Krasnov has also given them permission to drill off the coasts of Florida and Alaska. Krasnov has given them government land to drill on.

Krasnov is the #1 Socialist president of all time, 12 billion to farmers, 20 billion to Argentina.

Krasnov has bought stock in private companies enough stock to have control over those companies.

The #1 Socialist president by far, his efforts to oust Maduro would pave the way for US companies to just take the oil.

I'm convinced that at least for now, while we are a functioning Democracy, we get the government we deserve. Once it's gone, that will not be the case.

The grifting by this administration is massive. I wonder what angle Trump and his people will
use Venezuela’s oil to make money from?
