Hosting Kennedy Honors, Trump tells audience "Many of you are miserable, horrible people"

On Sunday night, Mr. Trump did not steer clear of politics — he hailed his signature policy bill that he signed into law in July — and he did not appear to stay on script.

“If there is one thread that connects all of these amazing artists together, it is the word ‘persistence,’” Mr. Trump said in his opening remarks. “I can say that with a lot of the members of our audience — I know so many of you, and you are persistent. Many of you are miserable, horrible people. But you are persistent, you never give up. Sometimes I wish you’d give up, but you don’t.”

The whole joke, I mean. It's like 1950's comedy, but he gave it a try. Then again, I'm sure he didn't write it, and I'd give 5-1 odds his delivery was pathetic too

I think if he ever starts being, like, actually FUNNY, we'll know the ending to our national nightmare is forthcoming.

Gaynor appears to be an active GOP donor who has donated to numerous Republican candidates since 2016 under her birth name “Gloria Fowles,” according to FEC filings.

Robert Smigel put a lot of effort into puppeting Triumph. Conan O'Brien played off of Triumph's insults quite well.
