(17,403 posts)maybe Putin will get the message that Europe isn't going to knuckle under, despite Flim Flam Man aligning with Russia.
I can't hardly wait for 2026 and 2028 when we finally get the adults back in power and send this illegal regime into the shitter of history.

(20,204 posts)They should have been for a couple years now.
Manned aircraft, not so much. Dead Russian pilots make great martyrs for Putin. Destroyed drones, not so much.

(1,057 posts)Europe knows this.
But they're willing to let the Ukrainians die to keep their leaders in office and protect their treasuries.
If Ukraine signs any "peace deal", the Russkies will be back with a million more soldiers and improved weaponry .
I agree that the Russkies can't be completely defeated. But they can have their minds changed in no uncertain terms.
Putin needs to die or be jailed, that's the only way to stop this version of Russia in its tracks.

(946 posts)Every time a drone is close to a border, and the radars are locked in, the Russians gain intelligence. Thats a chief reason why they do it. They are identifying gaps.
The intelligence given from actual retaliation could be much higher than the moral feelings of having shot down a low value drone. God forbid the EU unsuccessfully trys downing drones, and weaken their own countrys security concerns. Just a counter point to consider.
