... some may remember my recounting of my experience in the doctor's waiting room last week and my subsequent awarding to myself a medal to commemorate it as well as other things in my life. I noted barbtries had already awarded herself a medal with expectations of having it awarded to her again every year. This forced me to initiate a monthly awarding of my medal so as to have 12 times the honor as hers.
Anyway, it happened again. While standing in line at Kroger, long lines with only two registers operating, go figure, I noticed a man two lanes over wearing a Trump hat. He looked in my direction, perhaps because while approaching the lane I had commented in louder than my indoor voice about Trump jacking up all of the grocery prices. I hadn't seen the Trump humper yet. When he looked at me I said "You wore your politics to the store." He nodded and I continued, "I would be embarrassed to tell the world I support a pedophile!" He did a slight shoulder shrug. I went on, "and a 34 time felon, and a rapist. He acted like a three-year-old when they gave him that made up medal!" He did the same shrug to each of my points. My wife was beside me saying, "Babe!" With each of my points. Nothing more transpired though my wife told me later that those around us had taken note with alarm. Maybe they did but I try to read bystander reactions when I do these things and I hadn't seen what she described. Doesn't mean it didn't happen though. Trumpistas are like the supporting characters in The Twilight Zone episode It's a Good Life. Whatever it is that Billy Mumy does they tell him it's the best thing that could possibly have happened.

(with apologies for all the people that leaves in the lurch. )
Isn't it funny how all the 'Karens' (and other variety of asshats out there) - are all found on the 'other' side of the political spectrum .. ?

Gosh, I'm sorry ....

(99 posts)... but I also didn't think I would run into someone so lacking in their personal life that defending MAGATS would be their entertainment for the evening! Take your disruptions elsewhere! Was that you wearing a Trump hat at Kroger this morning?

(14,859 posts)We're talking about someone (not the MAGA person by the way) that is making a public scene in grocery store - against a perfect stranger, not even in close proximity - who did not respond in any way to the provocation presented - and whose sin consisted of wearing the wrong article of clothing ....
Who is out of line ... ?
Your wife is telling you to hush up. You should probably listen to her more often.

(99 posts)... since most maga supporters won't know the reference look up Neville Chamberlain. You should also look into moving out of your mom's basement.
