New York Times: “Some voters may punish congressional Republicans in next year’s midterm elections if expanded Obamacare insurance subsidies are allowed to expire at the end of this month, a new poll released Thursday suggests.”

“Without the extension of larger subsidies, which lower the cost of health insurance under the Affordable Care Act for millions of Americans, many people will see their health expenses rise by about $1,000 next year. Among those facing a spike, most said they would blame President Trump or Republicans in Congress.”

Let us stop “Blaming” because that is an excuse for taking no action. Citizens deserve Affordable Health Care. Never mind all the labels and arguments over which approach will succeed. Obamacare only postponed the manufactured crisis we are now facing. No more playing politics with the health & well-being of humanity.

If we win the House in 2026 because "folks blamed the Republicans," where does that leave the people who need insurance? In gridlock for two years? I really wish giving in to anger and blame (while doing nothing) didn't feel so good.

When enough people refuse coverage and treatment (and die) due to the high costs, the loss of demand will inevitably lead to lower prices....

Unless, of course, they jack up the cost to make up for their lost volume.

Spiral into oblivion...then all but the uber-rich will just get sick and die....

News flash: they are already are. A renewal of my 2025 plan cost 40% more in 2026.
