Was The Man Who Shot The DC National Guard Being Blackmailed

Sources are telling the Daily Beast that the Taliban threatened to murder the DC shooter's family in Afghanistan if he did not fire on National Guard troops.

It has been reported that the Taliban is going after Afghanis who helped the United States in Afghanistan.

This story is still being investigated.

If true, it's interesting that the Taliban forced this man to do something that the Trump administration is using as an excuse to do more horrible things.

I have to wonder if somebody else got the Taliban to force this man to drive across the U.S. to kill National Guard in DC. That's a pretty specific request that just happened to help the Trump administration goals a lot.

How would the Taliban benefit from a National Guard soldier randomly killed thousands of miles away?

This sounds like a defense attorney or family excuse.
