It seems like they run that one at every commercial break, and I hate it almost as much as I hate the Kars-4-Kids ad. I can't get to the remote fast enough.

and then i figured out who was paying for the advertising.

"after all, it was you and me." yea, all the joe namath and dynamite ads are all paid by medicare itself.

I can avoid the ads. But the phone calls! Many are just a computer squelch sound with no one there. If you call back, it usually is a number that is not in service, OR - even worse, it is a number to a household that has no idea why their number called mine.

These calls are now coming before it is even light outside! So I wake up with this nonsense.

I know, I don't have to answer the call, but they use my local area code and I am expecting calls. Also, I answer it as soon as I can so it doesn't wake up my 84 year old mom who lives with me.

This should be illegal (spoofing phone numbers).

I had a plan, and they raised the rates. When I called to cancel, they transferred me to SALES. Then I got a new membership card in the mail. They won't even let you quit. I finally did, but it should have been done the first time I said it.
