Been noticing a pattern lately of seemingly pro Trump "answers" showing up on the Jeopardy board. It's been consistent maybe every other day with some sort of aspect of the Trump administration. The kicker was recently when the category was "Italian-Americans" and a photo portrait of Pam Bondi appeared on the screen with an answer of "This Italian American serves as Trumps Attorney General" that wasn't the exact wording but it was similar. Jeopardy routinely has clues with references to Disney, the parent company of ABC which air Jeopardy! but this is a new low to appease the Orange Pustule. It's all so Orwellian because I don't think that host Ken Jennings is a fan of Trump or his messed up administration. Anybody else noticing pro-Trump propaganda on Jeopardy!?

(4,802 posts)They are making a Rush Hour 4 because Trump wanted one.
This is the easiest way to get on Trumps good side. Otherwise you have to make tougher decisions.

(136 posts)not under scrutiny, just throwing it out there to normalize Trump. Im assuming they are doing it so that the Orange pustule might hear about it and favor ABC in the future.

(1,386 posts)They aren't going to say "the unqualified hack who is Trump's attorney general" or whatever you would like. They had a factual clue. It's not propaganda.

(3,326 posts)Like it or not, Trump and his admin are part of current events and history. Jeopardy wouldnt just ignore that. And, well, viewers who lean right do watch the show, so producers will always want the widest possible audience. When a Trump-ish question has been asked, its always been factual and not tinged political. Science and fact still rule though!
Yes, lots and lots of diversity from contestants!

(3,053 posts)I have found myself wanting to yell at the TV during Jeopardy lately. Before it was mostly the evening news.

(30,023 posts)It's one of those things. Strong category for some and weak for others. I remember it used to be one that wasn't often swept by one contestant.
