This tired, deeply-damaged man is so needy. He has to have references to him being president on his hat, on his shirt, and on a golf-framed placard next to his overcooked cheeseburger he's almost too-out-of-it to eat.

As long as he's sitting right by a window, it makes sense that they would have someone guarding it.

Side note: in pictures I've seen of him dressed for golf, I've noticed that he seems to skip the makeup on those occasions, meaning this is a rare opportunity to see how how washed out he looks without it. And boy, does he look old and tired here!

He has to remind himself of how special and important he is at all times, you know!

That looks like embroidery to me. I'll bet he orders a big stack of those shirts every few months, all with the same custom embroidery, so he never has to worry about running out of clean ones!

I used to, years ago (like during his first term), but I haven't felt that way in ages. From what I can see, she is living the life she wants, in spite of being married to him (in name only).

She probably knows exactly how bad his health is and is aware that she just has to hang in there for a little while longer. When he goes, she'll be a filthy rich widow who can go anywhere and do anything (with anyone) she damned well chooses. I can't really blame her for sticking around at this point, with the finish line so close.

But I can still toss a 40-pound bag of pellets over my shoulder and lug it into the house. That's gotta count for something!
